A New Orleans native and living many years in Houston and now Austin, Allen, alongside his wife Lucie, have a vast knowledge of flooding and understanding of the mental toll it takes to endure the years after flood events occur. This happened 3 times in 2 years while living in their Houston home, until Hurricane Harvey destroyed the house.
