Allen is a native New Orleanian, and after Hurricane Katrina, his family and friends faced significant losses. Later, he, Lucie, and their three children endured multiple floods in Houston before they lost their home and all belongings in Hurricane Harvey. It took years for them to recover, but now they are dedicated to giving back by providing flood relief help to others facing similar hardships.
